GARDENING

The most important ingredient in a great garden is dirt. Buy it from Sra. Alberta Flores who regularly makes the rounds in Taxco with her trusty transport. Tel: (762)622-5100

Potted plants and plant and flower fertilizers are available in small bags from a fellow who also sells plants in the Taxco market just to the left of the entrance to Ferrer's grocery store.

Seeds, especially for Mexican vegetables and flowers, are available in packets at the Farmacia Veterinaria just up from the Coca Cola company on the road opposite the Flecha Roja bus station. Walking up the street look for cages of farm animals on the right side of the road about half way up to the market.
